Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of inspectors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with local codes and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and grow revenue.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in residential construction or energy auditing OR a two-year degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with residential building science, residential energy efficiency, and residential building construction.
  • BPI Building Analyst or RESNET Rater Field Inspector certifications are preferred.
  • Code/Energy inspector certification is also preferred.
  • The capacity and desire to learn more about the industry.
  • Physical ability to work on ladders and enter attics, basements, and other confined areas of a home.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds of equipment repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Valid Driver's license, good driving record, and reliable vehicle required.
  • Basic computer and keyboard competency and familiarity with MS Word & MS Excel.
  • Must be able to pass a background check requirement.
  • Possesses leadership skills and a teamwork attitude.
  • Punctual, polite, and professional manner required.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional and competent manner.
  • Demonstrated strong organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure client relations and satisfaction.
