Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients with respiratory insufficiencies.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal respiratory health.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including the administration of medications and treatment modalities.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner certification from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board required prior to hire date.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
