Shuttle Driver Job Description

At Valet Park of America, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team in Albany. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting customers to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patrons in a polite and courteous manner, assisting them with any needs or requests
  • Safely operate our shuttles to ensure the well-being of our customers
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and signs to guarantee a safe and efficient operation
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and co-workers through radio contact and other means
  • Complete required pre-trip inspections to meet federal and company safety standards
  • Record passenger counts and trip times, as well as complete necessary paperwork for daily operations
  • Assist with equipment setup and breakdown, including signs and cones
  • Sweep shuttles to maintain cleanliness and report any mechanical issues to management
  • Comply with company procedures for shuttle operations

Requirements:

  • Valid NY Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Valid medical card
  • Background checks and driving tests will be conducted
  • Customer service experience is a must
  • Must be over 20 years old
