Position Overview:

Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts. You will rotate day shifts between various facilities and participate in on-call duties approximately one night per week and one weekend per month.

Department:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver proficient direct patient care in alignment with established standards and organizational policies.
  • Monitor patients closely to maintain a safe environment and enhance health outcomes.
  • Prepare the clinical setting and assess patients prior to procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Respond effectively to critical situations, utilizing nursing protocols to manage emergencies.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in a complex clinical environment.
  • Assess educational needs of patients and families, offering tailored education based on individual circumstances.

Qualifications:
Essential Credentials:
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Education:
Minimum requirement includes graduation from an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 6 months of nursing experience is required, or completion of a designated fellowship program.
