Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical Surgical/Tele unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Tele nursing, with a strong skill set in IV start and telemetry.
  • ACLS, BCLS, and CPI certifications required; PALS certification preferred.
  • Ability to work a 36/48-hour night shift, with flexibility to adapt to changing unit needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
