Job SummaryUnited Salad Co. is seeking a skilled Warehouse Selector to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Select products from the warehouse accurately and efficiently
- Verify quantity and condition of product using voice picking
- Secure products on pallets and build according to prescribed procedures
- Shrink wrap product for staging and transport pallets to the shipping dock
- Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to move product
- Prepare merchandise for loading trucks
- Follow company-preferred work standards at all times
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment and adhere to safety rules
- Meet selection and accuracy goals
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Previous warehouse or physical labor experience required
- Open 7 days a week/ Must have weekend availability
- Comfortable with operating powered industrial equipment
- Ability to lift between 40-70 pounds repeatedly
- Basic English comprehension required
- Ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift
- Work in a chilled/wet environment between 34°-55°
