A leading healthcare provider, Diamond Medical Recruiting, is seeking a skilled Podiatrist (DPM) to join their team in The Villages, Florida. This exciting opportunity involves providing high-quality care to patients in nursing homes across the state.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs to diagnose conditions such as fractures, sprains, infections, and deformities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, which may include medication, physical therapy, orthotics, or surgery.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or MRI scans, as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures, including removing bone spurs or repairing fractures.
- Provide patients with education on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures to avoid future problems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits and treatment plans.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Podiatrist.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Current licensure as a Podiatrist in the State of Florida.
