Position Overview:
As a Radiology Technologist at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix, you will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional care to patients. Our facility utilizes cutting-edge digital imaging technology to conduct over 350 examinations daily, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute radiographic procedures and analyses in line with departmental standards, employing independent judgment and established methodologies.
2. Educate patients and their families about the procedures and associated risks, ensuring a professional demeanor in all interactions to promote teamwork and optimal patient outcomes.
3. Generate high-quality images and compile them with relevant patient information for prompt interpretation, while maintaining precise documentation.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in performing necessary invasive or interventional procedures, adhering to established protocols.
5. Conduct equipment quality control assessments, troubleshoot issues, and notify appropriate personnel to ensure optimal equipment performance while maintaining a safe environment for all.
6. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, including confidentiality of all information.
7. Support the efficient operation of the department by managing supply inventories and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiology program is required.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure (if applicable) are mandatory. BLS certification is also required.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional education and experience in related fields are advantageous.
