Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the duties outlined for the Product Specialist, the Assistant Retail Manager will:

  • Foster a Customer-Centric Culture: Train and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Lead by Example: Inspire employees to consistently achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Uphold Company Values: Manage with integrity and promote the culture and mission of APCO LLC.
  • Be Knowledgeable: Maintain proficiency in all roles within the store, including Receptionists and Product Specialists.
  • Support Team Development: Assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, and motivating team members.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay informed about company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Planning: Collaborate with the Store Manager to communicate and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Maintain Store Standards: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, aligning with brand image.
  • Manage Labor Effectively: Assist in forecasting and scheduling labor in line with sales and product development.
  • Drive Sales Promotions: Support the Store Manager in executing and tracking sales initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Help with inventory audits and product ordering.
  • Enhance Customer Service: Lead by example through coaching and utilizing customer feedback.
  • Monitor Operations: Review daily reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Reduce Product Loss: Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
  • Facilitate Team Meetings: Schedule regular discussions with the Store Manager to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Develop Future Leaders: Identify and nurture potential leaders within the team.
  • Champion the Brand: Represent APCO LLC positively both inside and outside the store.
Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
  • Possession of a valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for working with people.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
  • Proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Desire to mentor and develop team members.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Quick to listen and follow directions.
