Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at The Heico Companies. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, shipments, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Assist the warehouse manager in planning and coordinating warehouse activities, including reviewing procedures and processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate the assignment of carriers for shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Train and supervise all department staff, promoting good safety practices and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve on facility committees and perform special functions as assigned by management.
  • Report any work-related injuries or illnesses to the supervisor immediately and prior to the end of the scheduled shift.
  • Perform other additional responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to perform math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must be able to think independently and make decisions corresponding to company policies and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and accurately in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have personal integrity, ability to address multi-task work assignments, ability to communicate positively and effectively, and the ability to work in a positive manner to project a positive and professional image to those outside of the company, management staff, co-workers, and all other individuals and departments within the company.
  • Must have the ability to have and maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be functionally literate in the English language.
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 70 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and lifting.

Education Requirements:

Associates degree in logistics or supply chain management is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and knowledge of Microsoft D365 is a plus.

Certification Requirements:

Forklift certification is required.

Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:

Works in a climate-controlled office and in an environment in the larger shipping area where temperatures may vary from hot and humid to cooler working conditions. Will work in an environment in the warehouse area that is dusty and dirty.

Years of Experience Required:

2+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required.
