At StandardAero, we're committed to excellence in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field. As a Sheet Metal Worker I, you'll play a critical role in our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform internal and external sheet metal repairs and modifications to aircraft serviced at our facility.
- Research and develop repair schemes using blueprints, engineering orders, service bulletins, and other technical publications.
- Fabricate various sheet metal parts by interpreting blueprints, calculating angles, diameters, and bend allowances, and then cutting, shaping, and forming the part.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of civilian or military aircraft sheet metal experience.
- Proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools, including precision measurement tools.
- Prior experience operating sheet metal machinery to fabricate units with complex contours and multiple angles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sheet metal training preferred.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude highly preferred.
