Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting vital signs and clinical data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float between various ICU units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Job Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or Neuro nursing.
- Proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, continuous sedation, and ICP monitoring.
- Experience with ventilator management and CRRT is essential.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI (CPI can be obtained on-site).
Work Schedule:
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a commitment to weekends.
- Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2-3, ensuring focused and personalized care.
