We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Lee Health, one of the largest public health systems in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
What You Will Do- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities using standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to patients, either individually or in groups, to improve their communication and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including assessment results, treatment plans, and outcome measurements.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Florida.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
