Job Summary:
Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team as a locum tenens provider in a Michigan facility. As a locum tenens gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and rounding on inpatients/medical and performing scheduled scopes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and rounding on inpatients/medical
- Perform scheduled scopes, including ERCP
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
- Active state medical license
- BC required
- ACLS certification
- 12-16 patients per day in rounding on inpatients/medical and 8-9 scheduled scopes per day
- ERCP required
- Credentialing and DEA registration
- Paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses
