Veterans Eye Exam Specialist

Are you a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist looking for a meaningful and flexible part-time opportunity? MRG Exams invites you to join our team as a Veterans Eye Exam Specialist. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans, using your expertise to assess their visual field and provide accurate reports.

As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy a daily rate of $450-$600, which will not be affected by no-shows. This provides financial stability and peace of mind, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service to those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT), to assess Veterans' visual acuity and identify any potential issues.
* Review Veterans' medical records through a secure web portal to gain a deeper understanding of their medical history and current health status.
* Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate is:
A licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
Credentialed to meet the VA's requirements.
Passionate about serving Veterans.
Skilled in analyzing medical records and exam findings to create accurate, timely reports.
Exceptional in both written and oral communication.
Detail-oriented and capable of submitting forms within required timelines.

Salary and Benefits:
* Daily Rate: $450-$600
* Independent Contractor: Enjoy autonomy in a 1099 role.
