Job Description

This full-time position is responsible for advancing basic and translational research programs as an Assistant Academic Research Scientist. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision, collaborating with experimental platforms specific to the hiring program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of research results
  • Reviewing literature and applying advanced knowledge to develop research protocols
  • Assisting in grant applications and other funding opportunities as needed

Minimum qualifications for this role include a PhD or MD, or a Master's degree with five years of professional experience in a technical or research lab. Laboratory experience will vary depending on the area of assignment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Emory University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
