Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Accent Decor. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in setting up and managing Azure Synapse Analytics environments, as well as hands-on experience with SuiteAnalytics Connect.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and will collaborate with business departments to build standardized reports and dashboards.

This role is key in establishing a robust business data environment to support decision-making and reporting needs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines and environments using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and SuiteAnalytics Connect.
  • Collaborate with business departments to understand reporting needs and build standardized dashboards and key reports in Power BI.
  • Work with SuiteAnalytics Connect to integrate NetSuite data into the broader data environment, ensuring seamless reporting across systems.
  • Build and optimize data models to support reporting and analytics, ensuring accuracy and consistency across business units.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across the data environment.
  • Collaborate with business users to design and implement data governance policies, ensuring proper use and access of data.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various data sources, including NetSuite.
  • Document data infrastructure, processes, and reporting standards for ease of use and future development.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business teams to deliver actionable insights through data.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, SuiteAnalytics Connect, and Power BI.
  • Strong experience working directly with business departments to understand requirements and deliver standardized reports and dashboards.
  • Expertise in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data manipulation and automation.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining secure and scalable cloud data environments on Azure.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance with data security policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics Connect, NetSuite, and other ERP system integrations.
  • Proven ability to design dashboards and visualizations that meet business objectives and deliver insights.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience working with diverse data sets.
