This position is based in a well-established facility that features a collaborative environment with a team of healthcare professionals, including Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. Our center is equipped with modern examination rooms and an advanced Infusion Suite designed for comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various autoimmune and arthritic conditions.
- Prescribe necessary medications and oversee IV Infusion therapies.
- Maintain precise patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Communicate health information and treatment plans to patients and their families.
- Educate patients on their health conditions and promote effective health practices.
- Monitor the overall health of patients and ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development and research activities.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervising physician.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology or related fields.
- Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are preferred.
- Experience with joint injections is advantageous.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in practice.
- A collaborative mindset with a positive and patient demeanor.
- Commitment to ongoing education and clinical skill enhancement.
- Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner and DEA license in Florida.
