About the Job
The Medical Therapist will provide respiratory care and assessment to patients as requested by physicians. This position requires working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, and home care environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures with minimal assistance such as intubations, cesarean sections, aerosol delivery, and patient assessment and care planning.
- Demonstrate professional behavior both on duty and as a representative outside of work hours.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with patients, visitors, and facility staff.
Requirements
- Active and current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire; OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certified within 3 months of hire.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care; Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
