Job Summary

We are seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to all safety precautions, and following infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all safety precautions.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions.
  • Report equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
