The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients and collaborating with physicians to provide optimal care.
- Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing interventions tailored to patient needs.
- Identifying patient requirements and prioritizing care through thorough assessments.
- Creating and managing individualized care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Performing therapeutic nursing actions and managing patient care effectively.
- Documenting care in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Advocating for evidence-based care standards and supporting innovative practices.
- Delivering patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing models.
- Completing additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital.
- A strong background in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
Preferred Skills:
- Current BLS certification from AHA.
- Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
