Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Length of Stay Coordinator for Adoptions. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating adoptions of pets from foster homes, working closely with adopters, foster parents, and our shelter teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to adopters and foster parents
  • Conduct adoption interviews and educate the public on animal care
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry
  • Collaborate with foster staff and marketing teams to promote adoptions
  • Assist with LOS tasks and cover for the LOS coordinator when needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of animal behavior and health
  • Computer literacy and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office setting within an animal shelter
  • Noise level is usually moderate
