Respiratory Therapist PRN Job Description

Menorah Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Bachelors of Science strongly preferred.
