Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a critical role in facilitating communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their teachers and peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret events, discussions, announcements, conversations, and other educational activities in a virtual setting.
  • Work one-on-one with a 3rd-grade student who is fluent in ASL and has an IEP for Speech services.
  • Collaborate with the student's educational team to ensure effective communication and support.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in ASL or education interpreting.
  • A 3.8 EIPA Score.
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a virtual setting.
