Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Highland Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia in Bellingham, Washington.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and supervision to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in medication management and promote optimal safety and effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and supervision.
  • Document care performed and observations of resident status.
  • Communicate with resident's physician.
  • Complete all nursing documentation accurately.
  • Participate in medication management.
  • Assist with or institute emergency measures as needed.
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Other Functions:
  • Ensure compliance with company's clinical policies and procedures.
  • Follow guidelines established from the Nurse Practice Act and company standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights.
  • Possess strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA laws and related regulations.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
