Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, preparing and observing patients undergoing procedures, and reporting abnormal activity. You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
  • Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • BLS, ACLS, and AART National certifications
  • Certificate of Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI) or Cardiac-interventional Radiology (CI)
  • State-specific licensing when required
