Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Repair Technician to join our team at HYTORC. As a Tool Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and calibrating hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, tools, and equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance services. You will also be responsible for pretesting tools to ensure proper form, fit, and function, and for troubleshooting issues with pumps, motors, and tools in shop.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Repairing and calibrating hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, tools, and equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance services
- Pretesting tools to ensure proper form, fit, and function
- Trouble-shooting issues with pumps, motors, and tools in shop
- Working with sales and service team members, and customers to meet the growing day-to-day repair requirements
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment. You must also be able to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload. In addition, you will need to be able to use basic tools, demonstrated ability to work with hands, and to work in mechanically oriented situations. You should also be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output, and be able to work with little or no supervision. Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills are also essential for this role. Finally, you will need to be able to routinely lift 25-75 lbs. and occasionally 75+ lbs., and perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
