About the Role

As a Patient Care Assistant at Mayo Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks, including direct and indirect patient care
  • Carry out designated skills within the functions of a certified nursing assistant, as defined by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
  • Communicate patient data and delegated tasks effectively
  • Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in patient care
  • Strong computer skills
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification through Arizona Board of Nursing
