Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive sanitation and cleaning program to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate and maintain power washers, air compressors, and other equipment to clean and sanitize equipment and facilities.
  • Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble parts from equipment to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Follow assigned cleaning and sanitizing checklists to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the sanitation and maintenance of our facilities.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Ability to comply with strict animal welfare standards and report incidents of abuse, neglect, or bio-security breaches.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods on concrete floors.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds continuously throughout the day.
  • Periodically lift up to 50 pounds.

Safety Protocols:

  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Authorized to perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures as assigned.
  • Trained in ladder safety and hearing conservation.
