Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is inventory management, overseeing team performance, ensuring efficient and accurate shipping processes, logistics coordination, and day-to-day operations. This role requires a motivated and experienced individual with prior experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Create and communicate daily production task schedules.
- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, partnering with internal resources as appropriate.
- Audit, maintain, and report accurate inventory.
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols and implement processes and systems to achieve efficient warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years related Warehouse Management or Supervisor experience in a progressively responsible leadership role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in warehouse management and logistics procedures and best practices. Prior experience setting up warehouse bin location systems is preferred. A strong understanding of an ERP system and hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases are also required.
