Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Technician to join our team at Joule, a System One division. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining production areas in a clean and orderly manner, handling biological materials and hazardous materials, and performing tank clean out, sterilization, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with GMP's
  • Handle biological materials and hazardous materials
  • Perform tank clean out, sterilization, and maintenance
  • Prepare glassware, filters, and other production materials needed for production runs
  • Able to follow production schedules for production runs


Requirements:

  • AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences with relevant experience
  • Formulations experience with liquid or solid formulation
  • Weigh chemicals and raw materials
  • Perform conversion calculations (mg/ml to Kg/l)
  • Measure aqueous solutions
  • Prior batch making experience in Food, Pharma, or Chemical industries
  • Experience/knowledge with formulation sheets
  • SAP or other enterprise managing software experience preferred


Working Conditions:

This is a 1st shift position, working 6:00am to 2:30pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
