Felipe's Taqueria Bartender Job Description

Job Summary:

Felipe's Taqueria is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, crafting expertly made cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and engage with guests, providing accurate information about our menu, service style, and answering questions about Felipe's.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve expertly made cocktails, adhering to Felipe's recipe and quality standards.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain organization and cleanliness in all areas of the bar, bar storage, and bar prep areas.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the Barback to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards.
  • Education and Training: Continuously educate yourself on spirits, customs, and cultures associated with them, as well as bar drinks and recipes.
  • Permits and Certifications: Maintain a valid Responsible Vendor's permit.

Additional Responsibilities:

The Bartender is responsible for the overall appearance of the bar, quality of drinks, and quality of service. They must work effectively with the Barback to manage high volume while maintaining high standards. The Bartender is also responsible for directing and delegating tasks to the Barback, as well as participating in Deep Cleaning Days to maintain the cleanliness of the bar.
