Position Overview: The Director of Content and Creative will spearhead the internal content and creative services division, ensuring the delivery of persuasive and engaging creative concepts that align with LocumTenens' offerings. This position is crucial in advancing our brand narrative and ensuring our content effectively connects with our target demographic. A strategic mindset, coupled with exceptional leadership capabilities and a fervor for creativity and storytelling, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership (50%):
- Oversee the content and creative team to produce compelling and on-brand content across diverse platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and liaise with sales and recruitment teams to ensure content initiatives align with overarching business objectives.
- Work in tandem with the marketing team to weave content into broader marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Coordinate with marketing operations to manage and prioritize projects according to established timelines.
- Supervise a team of writers and designers, maintaining relationships with freelance and contract professionals.
- Identify content gaps and explore innovative opportunities to enhance awareness, engagement, and conversion rates.
Content Development (25%):
- Lead the production of high-quality, engaging content across multiple channels, including the website, social media, email, and other digital platforms.
- Oversee the creation of written, visual, and multimedia content, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and audience resonance.
Creative Oversight (25%):
- Provide creative direction and insight.
- Develop original concepts based on established voice and tone, collaborating with writers on content execution.
- Work alongside designers, writers, and other creative professionals to generate innovative and impactful content.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing and creative design.
- Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and differentiate our content and creative initiatives in the marketplace.
Additional Responsibilities:
- May engage in special projects or additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory and Budgetary Responsibilities:
- Manage direct reports and operations team.
- Oversee a team budget exceeding $100,000.
- Engage with customers, clients, partners, or providers as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing and/or marketing operations management.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective content strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Strong creative vision with the ability to translate ideas into compelling content across various formats and channels.
