Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Playground Monitor Substitute to join our team. As a Traffic Playground Monitor Substitute, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during before and after school hours, recess, and lunch.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of students in designated areas, including playgrounds, hallways, and crosswalks.
- Monitor student behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent conflicts or safety issues.
- Provide support to students with special needs, as required.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transition between classes and activities.
- Perform related duties as required, such as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience working in a public school setting preferred.
- Live Scan (fingerprint) and TB Clearance required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, staff, and parents.
