Job Summary:
Volt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Operations: Utilize mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Leadership and Management: Manage employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management.
- Capital Projects: Administer the maintenance and capital projects for the site, utilizing the CMMS to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Corrective Actions: Implement corrective actions identified by key maintenance performance indicators to create overall equipment effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.
- Corporate Policies: Ensure corporate policies and standards are followed in both capital project implementation as well as daily maintenance.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or some college is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance supervision in a food manufacturing environment is required.
- Skills: Working knowledge/exposure to food manufacturing equipment, PLC experience (Allen Bradley platform), and working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems are strongly desired.
- Leadership: A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience with maintenance technicians is required.
- Software: Experience with CMMS, MVP JDE, and MS Office Suite is required.
