Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join SERVPRO of Chesterfield, Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton in Midlothian, VA. This role involves preparing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional service to external and internal customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate bi-weekly payroll, including timely review and entry of data into the payroll system.
  • Maintain up-to-date, complete, and accurate records in HRIS, QuickBooks, and proprietary software.
  • Track employee absence and report on company-wide absence metrics.
  • Process new hires, employee changes, and terminations efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage electronic time keeping systems, set up new employees, and provide assistance with employee queries.
  • Monitor employee eligibility for benefit plans and facilitate enrollments, changes, or terminations from plans.
  • Review benefit billing for accuracy and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, record-keeping, and generating reports.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of payroll experience, preferably with companies having over 50 employees.
  • Familiarity with recent versions of QuickBooks is beneficial.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, with the ability to learn new software.
Compensation and Benefits
