Job Overview

Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Endoscopy for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Details

This position involves a combination of two eight-hour shifts and two ten-hour shifts, both commencing at 0630.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience is required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Patient Demographics

The role involves working with a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.

Required Certifications

Candidates must possess the following certifications:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
Skills and Work Environment

Experience in the following procedures is essential:

  • ERCP
  • ERCP with Spy Glass
  • Bronchoscopy
  • EBUS Procedures
  • Colonoscopy
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with three rooms and eleven beds, averaging a daily census of 20 patients.

Unit Systems

Familiarity with Pyxis and Epic systems is preferred.

Additional Information

Scrub Color: Royal Blue

RTO: Maximum of 7 days

Weekend Requirements: 2-3 weekends per contract

Floating: None

Call Requirements: 1-2 shifts per week, with at least one weekend each month

Holiday Expectations: If assigned during a major holiday, the traveler is expected to work, with specific guidelines for multiple holidays.

Compliance

Full compliance is required to ensure timely start dates; any delays may result in a two-week pushback due to orientation schedules.
