Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY:

As the Inventory and Maintenance Coordinator at Woods Basement Systems Inc, you will play a vital role in managing the inventory of products, tools, and grounds across various locations. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, Production Managers, and Foremen, you will address and resolve challenges encountered on job sites, contributing to the company's overall objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the organization, stocking, and inventory counting processes
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in Inventory Buildings and office spaces
  • Ensure that all office supplies are adequately stocked and replenished
  • Safely and efficiently operate power equipment
  • Demonstrate punctuality and maintain consistent attendance

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out other tasks as assigned by management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Understanding of inventory management and procurement methods
  • Experience in a warehouse, shop, or inventory management environment
  • Ability to manage inventory in an effective manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive approach and ability to follow through on tasks

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Possession of a valid driver's license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must have good vision and hearing capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel as required
  • Must be capable of lifting heavy items
