Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at North Carolina State University's Campus Health Services. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments for patients using current evidence-based objective tests and measures.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care with measurable goals to address dysfunctions identified and patient goals, including a home program.
- Administer physical therapy treatment based on the assessed plan of care, including patient education, manual therapies, non-manual therapies, and modalities as needed.
- Complete comprehensive documentation of all services into the Electronic Medical Record.
- Communicate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding the initial evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summary.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plan, prevention, and discharge planning.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and abide by HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with departmental policies and procedures, as well as infection control protocols.
- Provide direction and supervision to physical therapy students and volunteers under the rules and regulations of the State Practice Acts and any other State or Federal guidelines.
- Plan and conduct in-service training on physical therapy and related topics for students, staff, and community groups.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by accruing continuing competence hours as stated by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Health Services director, the Medical director, or the Physical Therapy director.
- Current license to practice physical therapy in North Carolina from the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Current CPR license.
- Valid NC Driver's License required.
