Quality Auditor Job Description

MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our team in Saline, Michigan. As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our manufactured parts and participating in quality containment actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct dimensional checks on manufactured parts to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Participate in quality containment actions to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Promote and support plant-wide cleanliness, organization, and safety initiatives.
  • Represent the Quality function professionally to production team members.
  • Build effective working relationships with production supervisors, operations managers, and other teams.
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
  • Interact respectfully and professionally with clients and coworkers.
  • Be available for overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate or higher degree preferred; significant work experience in quality inspection within the plastic injection molding industry will be considered.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, check fixtures, and digital cameras.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
