Qualifications and Education:

Graduated from an accredited institution of nursing

Must hold a valid nursing license in the state of practice along with necessary certifications relevant to the role and healthcare facility.

A minimum of one year of prior nursing experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Current CPR certification is mandatory.
Annual physical examination is required.

Knowledge and Responsibilities:

Demonstrates the ability to apply the nursing process in delivering patient care, which includes but is not limited to administering medications and treatments as per physician directives and hospital policies, interpreting diagnostic tests, developing care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and educating patients and their families while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

The RN must exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care tailored to patients across all age groups.

Must show understanding of growth and development principles throughout the lifespan, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's condition, and interpret relevant information to identify each patient's needs based on age.

Accurate documentation of observations and data related to the patient's clinical status is required. Must effectively communicate patient care reports to appropriate healthcare personnel in accordance with hospital protocols. Performs all related duties as required.

Physical Demands:

The individual may need to assist in repositioning patients, lift supplies, and maneuver equipment within the facility.

Must be capable of bending to perform certain tasks and navigating throughout the facility in response to emergencies.

Visual and auditory skills are necessary for interpreting environmental cues. In case of an evacuation, the ability to lift patients may be required.
