Job Summary

The IT Manager provides strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the development and implementation of healthcare information systems. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and technologies that support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the development and implementation of healthcare information systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff on the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and technologies.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of system architecture, including the selection and implementation of hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of systems and technologies to ensure they meet the needs of the organization.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of healthcare information systems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in information technology, healthcare delivery, or project management.
  • Experience with system implementation and support.
  • Experience managing interdisciplinary projects that involve healthcare providers, hospital leadership, and information system professionals.
  • Experience with health information management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the healthcare industry with system implementation and support.
  • Experience with key OSF applications.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
