Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Saunders Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, including administering medications, performing procedures, and recording vital signs.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
  • Prepare and administer medications, and record patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Observe and report any significant changes in patient condition to the provider, and ensure that clinic protocols are followed for all patients.
  • Responsible for ordering, receiving, and handling supplies as needed, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for sample medications.
  • Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times, and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • One year of clinical experience desired, with a current Nebraska LPN or RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent patient care and customer service.
