Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Mountain Meadows Lodge in Killington, Vermont. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing check-in/check-out procedures, handling inquiries, and supervising front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and Assist Guests: Welcome guests, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle Reservations and Inquiries: Manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about local attractions and services.
- Manage Cash Transactions: Process cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure the security of guest valuables.
- Provide Local Information: Offer recommendations and information about local attractions, services, and events.
- Address Guest Complaints: Respond promptly to guest complaints, resolve issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain the safety and cleanliness of public areas, including the front desk, lobby, and guest rooms.
- Train and Supervise Front Desk Staff: Train and supervise front desk staff, ensuring they provide exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of quality.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional guest service, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Strong Communication and Organizational Abilities: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to Handle Financial Transactions: Process cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure the security of guest valuables.
- Ability to Use Computers and Property Management Systems: Use computers, email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and property management systems to manage reservations, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
