Position Overview

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000, with potential relocation assistance available.

The Breast Imaging / Radiologic Specialist is responsible for executing both routine and advanced breast imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for healthcare professionals. This role requires independent judgment and well-honed clinical skills to perform safe and accurate procedures, delivering timely results. Building trust and rapport with patients and their families is essential, achieved through thorough assessments, vigilant monitoring, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized mammographic examinations while adhering to all regulatory standards to maintain patient privacy and safety.
  • May include training and orienting new staff members within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist and Mammography upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.

Experience:

  • Level II: Less than 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Level III: 5+ years of relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of mammography techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and electronic health records.

Job Shift: Days

Schedule: Full Time

Weekend Requirements: Rotating Weekends

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available.
