Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor to provide basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Record patient medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications
- Monitor patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and compose patient charts
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., and clean and dress wounds
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
- Proven experience as an LPN or similar role
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
