Scoring Specialist for Educators

We are looking for educators who share our passion for education to join our team as scoring specialists. As a scoring specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating responses from teacher candidates, successfully internalizing training and scoring guides, participating in discussions, and applying scoring guides according to rubric requirements. You will also be expected to meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program and engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a teaching credential in Computer Science or have relevant professional experience in computer programming. You should also be a resident of California, have basic computer skills, and be able to meet via online meetings using a personal computer with web camera, microphone, and speakers.

As a scoring specialist at Pearson, you can expect to earn a competitive hourly rate of $17.50 and enjoy flexible scheduling Monday through Friday between 8:00am-4:00pm PST. Training and review are an integral part of every session, and you will have the opportunity to work on sessions that suit your availability.
