Medical Educator and Trainer

As a Medical Educator and Trainer at Allied Health Institute, you will have the opportunity to teach, evaluate and supervise students during classroom and examination periods on a per class basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions to foster a engaging learning environment.
- Prepares course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts to ensure students have the necessary tools for success.
- Copies and distributes classroom materials in a timely manner to support student learning.
- Informs students of procedures for completing and submitting class work to promote understanding and accountability.
- Returns assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines to maintain a sense of urgency and focus.
- Supervises students' fieldwork, internship (local area hospitals and blood draw centers) to provide real-world application and experience.
- Incorporates e-learning module into teaching framework to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Prepares and/or proctors examinations to assess student knowledge and understanding.
- Evaluates and grades students' class work, assignments, and papers to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
- Delivers lectures to students on relevant topics to promote engagement and motivation.
- Collaborates with colleagues to address teaching and research issues to leverage collective expertise and resources.
- Advises students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues to provide personalized guidance and support.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in a field related to course instruction, with a Bachelor's or higher preferred. A minimum of three years of experience is required, with five years of experience as a phlebotomist in outpatient and in-patient facilities highly desired.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
