Position Overview: The Installation Mechanic acts as the crew leader for HVAC installations, overseeing Installation Assistants on-site and executing both residential and commercial HVAC replacements and new system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at the warehouse punctually to prepare the truck with necessary materials.
  • Supervise installation projects to ensure adherence to all relevant standards, policies, and procedures, including safety protocols and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Execute proper startup procedures and resolve any startup issues.
  • Utilize project management software to document all processes effectively.
  • Oversee Installation Assistants, ensuring quality control and efficient time management.
  • Inspect and test systems to confirm compliance with specifications and plans.
  • Manage transitions on ductwork in the field.
  • Ensure all company-provided equipment and assets are maintained in good working condition.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Must be ready to start work by 7:30 am.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HVAC installation.
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Note: Candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
