Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Coach to join our team at CREOKS Health Services. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals in our Children's Crisis Unit to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Training

Develop and implement recovery plans, teaching individuals recovery skills and tools, such as WRAP, to promote self-advocacy and hopefulness.

Modeling Personal Responsibility

Model personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness by sharing your own story and experiences, highlighting the importance of respecting individual needs and maintaining a positive attitude.

Providing Assistance

Provide assistance in a concise, informative manner, maintaining a positive tone and using appropriate non-verbal communication skills.

Confidentiality and Non-Judgmental Approach

Maintain confidentiality of all guest information and exhibit a non-judgmental approach, effective listening, and positive interactions.

Guest Support

Assist guests with admissions, including securing personal items, checking for prohibited items, and managing behavioral emergency situations.

Environmental Safety

Maintain a safe guest environment by performing room checks, safety checks, and monitoring guests with special needs.

Crisis Intervention

Understand and utilize non-violent crisis intervention procedures to de-escalate agitated guests, participating in safety interventions as needed.

Agency Policies and Procedures

Follow agency policies and procedures, adhering to the attendance and punctuality policy, and dressing in an appropriate manner for the work environment.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; 21 years of age or older.

Skills and Qualifications

Time management skills, willingness to work extra hours, current Oklahoma Operator's Driver's License, core competencies in co-occurring disorders, and grasp of community-based mental health services.

Training and Certification

Successful completion of required training and agency-approved non-violent crisis de-escalation training.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform continuous standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity, and use of corrected vision, depth perception, and wide field of vision.
